Position Summary
The Data Analyst will support the growth and effectiveness of Avail's client care, including Avail's national digital care platform (Better Clarity), by developing data systems, analytics infrastructure, and reporting that translate user behavior and client outcomes into actionable insights.
This role will report to the Product Lead to build measurement frameworks that track user engagement, care outcomes, and platform performance across both self-guided and facilitated care journeys.
The Data Analyst will help Avail move from basic reporting to data-informed product strategy, supporting experimentation, funnel optimization, and outcomes measurement as Avail scales nationally.
This position plays a key role in advancing Avail's vision of reaching 1 in 5 people facing unintended pregnancy by 2035 by ensuring the organization can measure impact, identify growth opportunities, and continuously improve the digital care experience.
This role ensures that data informs both product development and client care strategy.

Analytics Infrastructure & Data IntegrityItem Link List Item 1
Build and maintain dashboards that track Better Clarity user journeys from entry to engagement and facilitated care conversion.
Ensure data flows accurately across systems including CRM, messaging platforms, scheduling tools, and website analytics.
Monitor data integrity, analytics tagging, and event tracking across the platform.
Work with the Product Lead and technical teams to implement scalable analytics architecture.

User Journey & Funnel AnalysisItem Link List Item 2
Analyze user behavior across Better Clarity pathways to identify friction points, drop-off stages, and opportunities to improve engagement.
Track and report on key funnel metrics including: Activation, Engagement, Retention, and Facilitated care conversion.
Produce insights that inform product improvements and digital care pathway optimization.

Outcomes MeasurementItem Link List Item 3
Support measurement of Avail’s key client outcomes, including increases in: Hope, Confidence, Personal Strength, and Pregnancy Decisions.
Develop dashboards that allow leadership to understand client outcomes across both digital and relational care experiences.

Support A/B testing initiatives by designing experiment tracking and analyzing results.
Provide insights that guide feature prioritization and product roadmap decisions.
Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition strategies and engagement campaigns.

Create regular reports and visual dashboards for the Product Lead, Chief Program Officer, and leadership team.
Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Identify trends in client engagement, service delivery, and digital growth

Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or business intelligence
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting user behavior and digital product data
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience analyzing digital products, SaaS platforms, or mobile/web user journeys
- Experience with experimentation or A/B testing frameworks
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, WordPress
- Experience working with CRM or customer engagement data
- Interest in mission-driven or social impact organizations
